Brush Pickup is Complete
The City has completed the brush pickup from the ice storm in December. The City will not be picking up or chipping limbs. If you have limbs or trees needing to be removed, please contact City Hall to arrange for a cost estimate from Progressive, the City's trash provider.
Traffic Shifting onto New Pavement!!
Now that traffic has been shifted onto the new pavement of Highway 380, even more caution needs to be used. Watch for flag personnel as they direct traffic. Please use caution entering and exiting businesses and cross-streets. Use extra precaution for workers and others as this construction effort continues. Lane closures will happen during construction! Please be safe!
Stage 3 Drought Water Conditions
We are still under drought conditions. With little water flowing into Lake Lavon, (our primary water supply), North Texas Municipal Water District is restricting landscape watering to once every two weeks during the month of April. We will receive month to month extensions based on any changes to the drought conditions. For the latest News Release from NTMWD, CLICK HERE. With the drought still underway, citizens are asked to lower their water consumption by 10% . Please use your trash day to water your landscaping. For more information, CLICK HERE.
