The Capital Improvement Advisory Commission studies and projects land use of the City over a period of time to develop "Land Use Assumptions." Using "Land Use Assumptions," the Commission recommends a Capital Improvements Plan to ensure adequate infrastructure is in place to meet the City's ten year needs.
Residency Requirement: The Board member must reside one (1) year within the corporate limits of the City of Farmersville immediately preceding the appointment. The City Council shall appoint an Extra Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) representative to sit as a voting member when the Planning and Zoning Commission sits as the Capital Improvement Advisory Commission.
Term is for Three (3) years with a Two (2) term maximum.
