The City of Farmersville State Historical Marker is located at Farmersville Parkway at the intersection of State Highway 78.
Farmersville Memorial City Park
The City's oldest park, located in downtown on South Main Street, has playground equipment, benches, restrooms, a Civil War Monument dating to 1917, and the original generator that provided Farmersville with power until 1933.
The generator was moved to the park in the 1980's. Farmersville Memorial City Park is located at 153 South Main Street.
Freedom Plaza
Located in downtown includes a Veterans Memorial, a memorial to Audie Murphy (most decorated World War II Veteran), and a Historical Marker commemorating Audie Murphy's homecoming in 1945.
Farmersville Onion Shed
A restored 1930's Onion Shed, this building was once used as a loading dock for the onion industry. A historical marker is located on the West entrance. The Onion Shed is now used for the Farmersville Market held the first Saturday of each month, plus many other community events. The Onion Shed is located at 151 South Main Street in downtown. Chaparral Trailhead
The trailhead begins at the Historic Onion Shed and the City Park in downtown Farmersville. The City of Farmersville maintains five miles of the trail; 2.5 miles is paved, and 2.5 miles is a decomposed granite surface. Many geocache locations exist along the Chaparral Trail. This is just a portion of the 130 mile long Northeast Texas Trail, which continues to Paris, Texas and beyond to New Boston, Texas. (See www.northeasttexastrail.org). Rambler's Park
Located on Farmersville Parkway, adjacent to the Splash Pad.
Robbin Lamkin Memorial Splash Pad
Located on Farmersville Parkway. It's a great place for playing
in the water on a hot summer day! The Splash Pad opens on Memorial Day weekend and closed after Labor Day weekend.
Southlake Park
The lake is another source of outdoor fun and a beautiful setting for bird watching, enjoying a gathering under the pavilion, restroom facilities, hike and bike trails and a nice sized lake for fishing. Southlake Park is located at 1601 Old Josephine Road.
Spain Athletic Complex
Is an outdoor sports facility with five ball fields, a football area, restrooms, and concession area. The Complex is located at 400 Merit Street.
Farmersville Riding Arena

Charles J. Rike Memorial Library
Located at 203 Orange Street. Inside, you will also find a display of Audie Murphy memorabilia.
