Warrants
Do You Have a Warrant?
If you have a warrant, you must contact the Farmersville Municipal Court immediately at 972-782-8848.
What This Means
Texas Peace Officers are currently holding warrants for your arrest and detention from the City of Farmersville, Texas. You may be arrested and placed in jail at any time, especially during our ongoing Warrant Round-Up. Enforcement is proceeding. A warrant team has been assigned to apprehend you. Warrants are worked 24/7 including holidays and will be executed at your home, work, or wherever we can locate you at any time day or night. Should you wish to avoid being arrested, your vehicle possibly being booted, and license renewal denied, you are instructed to contact the Farmersville Municipal Court immediately at 972-782-8848. Under certain conditions you may qualify for a warrant payment plan.
How Did This Happen?
When you receive a citation, you are required to make a court appearance on or before the date listed on your citation. If you fail to appear or contact the Court prior to this date, a Failure to Appear charge and additional arrest warrants will be issued. Once a citation has gone into warrant status, additional fees and costs will be added to the fine amount. Once a warrant is issued for your arrest, you will be subject to arrest at any time. Should you be stopped for any reason, the officer will be notified that you have an outstanding warrant(s). You may be arrested and your vehicle may be impounded.
Payment Options
If a warrant has been issued for your arrest, the following procedures apply:
You may pay your warrant(s) in full in person at the Municipal Court Office. You may pay the fine using cash, money order, cashier's check, Visa or MasterCard; a convenience fee of 3% will be added for credit or bank card use. No personal checks will be accepted for warrants. A payment plan may be granted on an outstanding warrant through the Warrant Officer.
Payment will result in a conviction and will be reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Bond Information
If you failed to appear in Court and you now have arrest warrants, you may post a cash bond to place a hold on the warrant and secure a court date. Surety bonds will only be accepted upon the approval of the Judge. Please contact the Court for the bond amount and more information.
