To protect the lives and property of the citizens of Farmersville and surrounding communities providing fire suppression, fire prevention, fire and safety education, search and rescue operations and emergency medical services.

For over 125 years, we have proudly served the City of Farmersville and the surrounding areas with dedication and professionalism. Our commitment to the safety of our community has been unwavering, and we take pride in our long-standing history of service.
The Farmersville Fire District, established by Collin County, covers an expansive area that exceeds 76 square miles, extending well beyond the city limits. This allows us to effectively protect and respond to emergencies in a diverse range of environments.
We are proud to maintain an ISO 2 rating, reflecting our high standards of service and operational readiness. Our department is comprised of 9 full-time staff members, complemented by a dedicated team of part-time volunteers. Together, we operate a fleet of 6 fire suppression apparatus, ensuring we are well-equipped to respond to emergencies swiftly and effectively.
